Paris Hilton flirting with Prince William?
22 Oct 2008
Kate Middleton is safe. Paris Hilton says she has NOT been flirting with Prince William.
The hotel heiress denied rumours that she has exchanged numbers and text messages with the future King of England during her trip to London.
"I did meet William and his brother, and they're very nice boys, very down to earth and very sweet," she told Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show. There was nothing romantic at all. They just came up and said hello and we talked and that was it. There's no texting going on. I'm reading that I invited them to Las Vegas, to a club - that never happened."
Paris, 27, said she met Princes William and Harry at a bar in London's Hilton hotel. Tabloid reports have claimed the reality TV star hit it off with William, exchanged contact details and invited the brothers to a party in Las Vegas.
But on Tuesday, Paris called in to Seacrest's Kiis FM show to shoot down the rumours. She told the DJ there had not been any flirting and the future King had not tried to get her phone number.
"He was really nice," she said. "They were actually really sweet and really cool guys. Harry was with his girlfriend Chelsea, who was so stunning, beautiful and so sweet. We just talked about London. We were at the London Hilton - there was a bar in there. It was just very friendly. They weren't flirting at all. I think everyone in the world definitely knows I have a boyfriend, I'm taken. I don't put out that vibe."
Paris, who is in London filming the British version of her show 'Paris Hilton: My BFF', also denied that newly single Guy Ritchie had lined her up a part in his new Sherlock Holmes movie.
The Simple Life star said she did meet Madonna's ex two weeks ago, during her first night in London, but there was no film talk.
"I didn't even know there was a Sherlock Holmes movie and I would never say that. It's so ridiculous," she laughed. "I did meet him at his pub and he was very nice, but I didn't even talk about any movies or anything. We were just talking about London."
Paris said she met Guy before news of his divorce broke, and he had not given any indication that anything was wrong.
"He was really nice - he wouldn't say anything to me about it," she said. "I don't think anyone knew about it at that point. He was with a bunch of his guy friends."
The socialite gushed to Seacrest about her love for boyfriend Benji Madden - and revealed they were celebrating their eight-month anniversary.
"He actually flies in [to London] every weekend. During the week he and Joel are writing the new Good Charlotte record, and then on the weekends he comes and sees me. Before I wasn't in love, I was just dating. But now I'm really in love and really happy. He would never hurt me and I would never hurt him. It's completely different to any relationship I've ever been in."
Paris blasted the British media and denied rumours that her relationship with Benji was on the rocks because she had met an English man during her London trip.
"I never said that I met an English guy," she told Seacrest. I have a boyfriend, it's out eight-month anniversary today and I would never say that in a million years. It just annoys me, especially the media out in the UK. They will not only make up crazy stories, they will also go as far as to make up quotes that I've supposedly said."
She added: "He [Benji] knows how ridiculous the media is. He'll go like 'Babe, they wrote this stupid thing' and he knows it's not true. He knows how in love I am with him and I would never do that. We just brush it off as silly gossip and we don't really pay attention to it."
Paris said her boyfriend was flying to London to celebrate their anniversary - and had already sent roses and caviar to her hotel room.
"He knows I love caviar. It was very sweet. He's very romantic," she said.
