Madonna devastated by 'gold digger' Guy Ritchie

MADONNA has hit out at husband GUY RITCHIE - calling him a "gold
digger", according to tabloid reports.
 
Madonna and Ritchie confirmed on Thursday (16Oct08) they will divorce, following months of speculation about the status of their marriage.
 
Speculation about the settlement between the pair has been rife, with latest reports stating that the Material Girl will hand Ritchie $60 million (34.9 million) as well as property to put an end to their seven-year union.
 
The director last week (beg13Oct08) insisted that he wanted "not one penny" from his wife - but Madonna is convinced he is after a slice of her fortune and is "devastated", according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

 A source tells the publication - which broke the news of the imminent divorce announcement last week (15Oct08) - that Madonna told a pal, "I'm totally devastated that Guy's turned out to be such a gold digger".

 "I thought we'd been on a spiritual journey together for the past ten years - but obviously I was wrong. He's just after my money. I've worked my ass off for the last 30 years to get what I have, and now this gold-digger wants to take it from me".
 
"Kabbalah philosophy teaches that you don't take what you haven't earned. Well that's exactly what Guy is doing. He hasn't earned a penny of it, yet wants to take, take, take. He keeps upping his demands - he just wants more, and more, and more from me. It's unbelievable."
 
Madonna is reportedly seeking primary custody of her 12-year-old daughter Lourdes by ex-partner trainer Carlos Leon, her eight-year-old son by Ritchie, Rocco, and the couple's adopted tot, David Banda, three - and plans to move her brood to New York, according to the newspaper.
