Millions of women have abnormal smear tests, sometimes resulting in laser treatment, not full blown cervical cancer. I know what I am talking about I had to have a hysterectomy & radiotherapy. Please Don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about. i dont remember Kylie getting this much agro when she had brast cancer. It shouldnt matter what she has done in the past, no-one deserves this. and I will be routing for Jade.

i feel really sorry for jade as i have always liked her. she made a BIG mistake on cbb with her racist comments against Shilpa. I think she was very niaeve.however,I really hope that she is not announcing this as a means to get sympathy especially from the Indian community and that she has done this to resurect her status with the public and the media. my dad died from cancer and my 23 year old daughter has just been informed of an abnormal smear test and has to be retested in 6 mths. So please Jade,get well soon, but don't make the mistake of using the media for sympathy.I wish you well.

Jade, pls you have to remain strong for yourself and your kids. You have gone through a lot of experiences in your life and you are a survivor. I pray that God will cure you physically and psychologically.

I know Jade will overcome her cancer,she is a strong woman with a positive outlook,which will help her greatly.I had breast cancer and had double mastectomy 5 years ago and I am here to-day to tell that you can come out the other side even stronger. So,Jade please be strong as you have everything to live for,my thoughts are with you.

I was really devastated in hearing this news, I hope and pray that God will help her through this difficult times and wish her a speedy recovery and all the best in the future.

i think its a disgrace that some people think this is a publicity stunt. cancer is a deadly disease and its not to be laughed at. my mother has just had her kidney removed and a tumour removed from her bladder and is waiting to go back in september for further treatment. its not her fault that she can afford top treatment and why shouldnt she? she is human like everyone else and deserves the best money can buy. people shouldnt be bitter about the situation....they should be wishing her well and hoping she pulls through for her family. i wish you really well jade...and hope you are soon back on your feet, looking after your young family. best wishes babes and all the best. as for those who are bitter....WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, never judge people cos it always comes back to you. Steve, is that the royal we. I certainly wouldent route for Hitler if he had cancer. As for the cancer in Jade, surely we saw it all last year, Jade the cancer in our nation. Everyone has a dark past nevertheless, you do not wish ill health on your worst enemy as it is not human nature. Like me you are a mother and you will get through this with the strength, love and affection from all around you. This would be a very sick publicity stunt..if it is, hooray! as it will bring awareness back into the public eye about cancer and all who are effected by it. Get well soon Jade, my sister had cancer { Not the same as yours } she got better and so will you. Take no notice of the awful people who have a go at you, it says more about them than it does about you.

This is a devoted mum of 2, she would not fake this. How dare people make jokes at the expense of someone with cancer. Jade has had a difficult life and should be proud of her achievements. Her outspokeneness may have got her in hot water occsionally but at least she is real with people. I will pray for her speedy recovery

Poor Jade. She has had such a difficult life (with a mother like that who wouldn't) and has tried so hard to improve herself and her life. Yes - she has made mistakes; who doesn't? but this must be an enormous blow to her. I wish her well and hope she can overcome this latest battle.

yes i do feel sorry for anyone who gets cancer but if she had tests why did it take so long for the results and why if there were any suspicions why did she bother going to india im sure if it was me i would have wanted to know my test results first more important than appearing in big brother bit late to make ammends in india now

We wouldn't know about it if her publicists didn't think it would benefit her, public sympathy and all that. Many famous people get ill and choose not to shout about it from the rooftops.

Keep your chin up girl....This is very treatable and although unpleasant there is no reason to suspect you will not get through it!!!!.....stay strong and possitive and hang on in there for yourself and your family!!!! Good Luck honey!

Yup, tis a sad fact of life, women develop cervical cancers every second of every day so, Jade Goody has it.OK, She will be given top specialist care that she can well afford n things will move along pretty swiftly for her and her loved ones. Do spare a lot of thought for the ordinary folk who have to join the long National Health Service que having been delivered such news and then suffer weeks/months of agonising waiting ahead of them!! I have had x 4 bouts of this, the first,second and third were treated with Laser treatments over a period of 2 years because it kept returning. and I had to return to the office straight after each treatment, that was very unpleasant. The fourth was an operation to try to rid the system of the invasion of cancer for good!! I was a single parent of 2 during this time and so, had to plod on and return to my day job and indeed my children as there was nobody to hand them over to whilst I allowed the cancer

I cannot believe that anyone would be doubting this story just because it's Jade Goody. I don't like what i see of the woman, but that doesn't make me think it's a publicity stunt! Why can't people wish her, and anyone else in her situation, well and hope that they make a full recovery? People like Nick Stagg's comments just show them to be the low life rather than the people they are commenting on. You have to remember that people like Jade would not have got where she is today if it wasn't for other members of the public wanting to buy her stories and perfume etc. and therefore enhancing her profile, and wealth. When Kylie discovered that she had Breast Cancer, no-one spoke ill of her and her situation, and that turned out to be a small tumor that was removed without damage to the breast. Anybody who gets a bad test result would come back and get it seen to as soon

Lying about cancer for a publicity stunt? Surely to some extend that would be breaking the law? And after the Celebrity Big Brother disaster surely Jade's PR wouldn't let her sink that low? May be it's a fine reminder that Jade is only human and no matter how famous, or infamous, bad things happen just like the rest of us. I wish the best to Jade and all cancer suffers alike. I don't think even Jade would be so stupid to use cancer as a publicity stunt, She may have done some stupid things in her time but no one deserves to have cancer of any sort. I hope she gets better especially for her boys.

I can't believe some people are saying it is a publicity stunt! Cancer is serious. Young women die from this cancer. I know that millions of other women suffer the same condition but I wouldn't wish that on any of them, just as I wouldn't wish it on Jade. Maybe she will get through it and work to campaign for better awareness or better treatements... I think we should all be a little less judgemental and put things into perspective.

wey a wud hope that somebody would not be as sick as to say they had cancer just to get some publicity in my opinion she is just a normal woman with 2 kids, who cares if she has publicity or not she deserves the same respect as any other woman suffering cancer would be.

As a survivor of this cancer (and having watched a dear friend die from it), I will be routing for Jade.

So what, millions of other women have the same condition and they have to rely on the NHS. It is a publicity stunt..
