Sir Bob Geldof's denies daughters drugs overdose

SIR BOB GELDOF's daughter PEACHES has blasted reports she overdosed on drugs - despite admitting she had previously experimented with narcotics.
The 19-year-old was found lying unconscious in her north London flat last month (Jul08) following a suspected drug overdose.
She says, "It was blown completely out of proportion. I never overdosed. Drugs for me are something I don't normally meddle in. I have tried drugs in my life, I'm not going to deny it, but I don't need to go to rehab because I never, and will never, have any sort of habit with drugs.
"It's something that people go through in their lives, especially growing up in London, and it's not something I've ever had a problem with."
But the teenager, whose mother, British TV presenter Paula Yates, died of a heroin overdose in 2000, claims she isn't addicted to narcotics.
She adds, "I'm not friends with Amy Winehouse, I don't live in Camden. I've never smoked crack. I've had experiences with drugs - some good, some bad - and it's not something I want to pursue. I can say now, I've never overdosed."
