The newlywed singer has revealed she dons an apron and gets busy in the kitchen all in the name of love. And the way to new hubby Nick Canon's heart? Her signature dish - linguini with white clam sauce.
Grammy winning powerhouse Carey, 38, who recently tied the knot in surprise nuptials with the comedian and DJ, has opened up about married life and her culinary expertise.
She told one US TV show: "I love to cook, especially on the holidays.
"My special dish is linguini with white crab sauce, it's my father's recipe. Nick isn't really a cook, but I cook and I made him my special dish and he liked it a lot. Married life is great, he (Nick) is a great person, He's very smart, loving, caring and an incredible person".
"We have fun, we have a great time together. People are confused about the whole thing. In the beginning they were like 'What's going on? This is so fast'. But it's perfect, normal to us and just seems like how it was always supposed to be. We are definitely best friends, it's about maintaining friendship, closeness, honesty and having a great time."
Mariah also talks about her new fragrance "Luscious Pink", and about an exciting new contest for die-hard fans.
"I love to get my fans involved in what I do whenever I possibly can," she said. "So this time around with "Luscious Pink" coming out ... they can design a dress for me."
The superstar herself will wear the winning dress at a glittering showbiz event before auctioning it off in aid of breast cancer awareness.
