Matt Willis kept his wife waiting four days before calling after she chased him for a date

The couple, who are soon flying out to Australia to present ITV2s coverage of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now!, revealed that it was wife Emma Griffiths who chased Matt for a date.
TV presenter Emma, 32, said: "You have got to bite the bullet and go for it if you want it."
She joked: "I just thought why not, and I thought I had a bit of an advantage because I was a bit older than him so I thought I could maybe raise him in captivity a little bit and mould him into what I wanted from a man when he was a bit older. It is kind of working!"
But she said Matt kept her waiting for their first date and said: "I chased him all the way to Saturday Night Takeaway. I left a message for him passed on via numerous people and he didn't call, so I thought I've totally embarrassed myself chasing that young boy from Busted, what are people going to think. But then on the fourth day he called."
But Matt, who married Emma in July 2008, said he almost risked losing her. The 25-year-old told The Paul O'Grady Show: "I think most blokes have this. If you meet a girl you like and get the phone number you wait four days before calling them, otherwise I think you seem a bit too keen. Treat them mean, keep them keen."
But Emma said: "I think if you like someone you like them, go for it and if they say no they say no."
