Nicolas Cage has put another of his multi-million dollar homes on the market
30 Oct 2008
The actor has just listed one of two homes he owns in New Orleans with an asking price of $3'7 million.
This is the third home Cage has put up for sale recently after listing his $15.9 million Rhode Island estate and his huge $30 million Bel Air Mansion. The home in New Orleans has six bedrooms and six bathrooms in more than 13,000 sq ft.
Cage bought the home, which also has a swimming pool, back in 2005 before also buying the LaLaurie mansion in the French Quarter in 2007.
The Lalaurie home, just up the street from Brad Pitt and Angelina's home, is supposedly the most haunted home in New Orleans. Cage, 43, has made no comment as to why he is selling off most of his luxury homes.
He recently listed his Rhode Island estate, which he bought just over a year ago in August 2007.
The Oscar winner and his wife Alice shelled out $15.7m for the sprawling 24,000sq-ft English country manor house.
The impressive brick and stone manor, built in 1924, sits on 26-acres with Atlantic views near Middletown, Rhode Island. The mansion has a grand hallway, 12-bedrooms, ten bathrooms and a formal living room with water views.
There is also a vintage conservatory, a billiard room, and a gourmet kitchen with stone fireplaces. The other house he is also trying to sell is the impressive Bel Air mansion he purchased from Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones.
The brick-walled landmark home, which was originally owned by Dean Martin, has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms. The two storey estate features a pool, projection room, library, custom built wine cellar and state of the art security system.
Cage initially listed the home for $35 million earlier this year but is believe to have dropped the asking price to $30 million. The actor also recently sold his 132 foot yacht for a reported $7.7 million.
