ASHTON KUTCHER is nursing a black eye he picked up during an American football game - and he couldn't be prouder of his battle scar.

The actor is the stand-in coach for Harvard-Westlake High Wolverines in California - and he has learned the job comes with a little danger.

He says, "This is the black eye of pride of a football coach having a jobwell done."
