For some women it would be their worst nightmare. Presenter Cat Deeley has gone on live US television in front of five million viewers - without make-up. Cat, 30, left the foundation, lipstick and mascara in the bathroom cabinet for a segment on beauty. She said: "We're constantly bombarded by images of perfection in magazines, TV and films. "Well, this is me with no make-up. "I flew from New York to LA and this is what I really look at." Then appearing with her face on, she said: "But with the right team, this is what I look like." She was interviewing MTV beauty Vanessa Minnillo, who donned a fat suit disguise and was made to look as ugly as possible to see how people react. Vanessa, a former Miss Teen USA, said: "We are obsessed by how we look." She underwent a full body transformation to become a "stereotypical ugly girl". She found that she was snubbed in shops and laughed at by passers-by. Birmingham-born Cat has landed a job as the new celebrity correspondent on US breakfast show Good Morning America. Earlier this week she scored an interview with Hollywood superstar Demi Moore. |
