Keira Knightley rests her heavy head

The wig KEIRA KNIGHTLEY donned in new movie THE DUCHESS was so heavy, she needed a special headrest to support her neck.
The 23-year-old plays an aristocrat in the forthcoming 18th-century drama and had to wear a heavy wig as part of her elaborate period costume.
And the hairpiece was so massive, the film crew created a custom resting post to take the weight off the slender star's shoulders.
Knightley's co-star Hayley Atwell recalls, "I loved filming The Duchess - Keira has a great sense of humour. She had to wear this huge wig that was so heavy they made her a board that she could lean her shoulders and head against in between takes so she didn't topple over or get neck aches."
