Ed Norton has revealed he broke his spine in three places shooting his latest movie

The star injured himself when he was thrown from the back of a horse filming 'The Painted Veil' in China.

Doctors examined Fight Club star Norton, 37, and told him he had cracked three vertebrae in his back.

"One of those horses chucked me off pretty badly," he said. "I broke my spine in like three places. I broke my back. "I felt like my back was horribly wrenched, but I assumed I was okay and I didn't actually find out about it until I went to Hong Kong."
