Hollywood hotties Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson appear to have fallen back in love

The pair, co-stars in 'You, Me & Dupre', were first linked last summer at the same time as Hudson split from rocker husband Chris Robinson, but they then split after a rocky patch over Christmas.

Now, however, they have found themselves in the same city - and insiders say the love match is back on.

A family friend insists Kate and Owen rekindled their romance while in Queensland, where Hudson is filming 'Fool's Gold' with Matthew McConaughey.

The insiders say that the affection was always strong between them - but Wilson was scared-off because it was such a complicated situation for Hudson because of her marriage split and famous family.

"Owen backed out because he didn't want to deal with the whole situation with her family," the family friend insisted. "There's Chris Robinson and the baby, and also Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell don't approve of the relationship."

One sign of the rekindled romance may have been a distinct change in attitude from Hudson towards celebrity photographers - suddenly being desperate for privacy. "Kate had a very close, friendly relationship with the paparazzi on set, but she changed her tune earlier this week," one insider said.

"There was a five-day period when she requested no photographers. Her people even threatened to get the police on them if they didn't leave her alone." Wilson's spokesperson insisted that he was currently in India, not Australia.
