Hilary Swank refused entry to the Golden Globes red carpet

The 'Boys Don't Cry' star was with her new boyfriend, John Campsi, when she tried to drive up to the awards in a limo.

But the car was stopped by security - and refused entry for not having the correct paperwork.

Swank, who won best actress Oscars for both 'Boys Don't Cry' and 'Million Dollar Baby', stuck her head out of the window to politely plead with the guards to let her through.

An onlooker says "the guards didn't recognize her and refused".

So Swank and Campsi had to get out and flag down another car - one with the correct paperwork - to pick them up and finally let them walk the red carpet. But before she left, the insider says Swank turned to the security guard and "flipped him off", giving him a rude finger sign.
