Penelope Cruz dodged questions about her rumoured fling with Orlando Bloom

The 'Vanilla Sky' actress - who split with hunk Matthew Mcconaughey last April - has been spotted with 'Pirates of The Caribbean' star Bloom several times over the last few months.

Cruz played coy when she was quizzed about the rumoured romance by U.S. host Ryan Seacrest

"I really didn't expect this question," Cruz blushed. "We have been friends for a couple of years. I have known him for a while now -we are friends."

The pair was last spotted together at Bloom's 30th birthday bash in Hollywood hotspot Teddy's on Saturday Night.

"He couldn't keep his hands off of her," a source at the party said. "He would just keep grabbing her and kissing her. It was very sweet."

But another partier added that the kissing wasn't exactly romantic: "He was wasted. He would just grab her face and give her a big kiss on the cheek."
