Brit stunner Cat Deeley has landed a job with one of the top morning shows in America

The sexy blonde TV star attended the Golden Globes on behalf of Good Morning America - and interviewed such A list Hollywood stars and winners as Meryl Streep, Eddie Murphy and Helen Mirren.

She also sat down to talk to Dreamgirls star and Globe winner Jennifer Hudson as well as the casts of TV shows Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy.

She then reported on the Globes the following morning in a live show that was broadcast across the US.

Cat, who shot to fame in the UK presenting such shows as Fame Academy and SM:TV Live, moved to Los Angeles recently to launch her career there. Since then she has landed the hosting role of So You Think You Can Dance and is has also just been announced she has landed a job with American Idol.

Cat, 30, will host a special UK version of the hit TV talent show, which stars Simon Cowell. She will chat to British fans of the US show and do backstage interviews on ITV2 from Friday. Almost 50million people saw the finale of the last series.
