The three leading stars from the hit sex, sand and surf show, may have shot to fame and become huge stars in their professional lives. But their personal lives have been more like an episode of the show. Both Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra are now set to become two time divorcees while David Hasselhoff is currently embroiled is a nasty divorce battle with his former wife. Here we take a look at the marriages and divorces of Pam, Carmen and The Hoff. PAMELA ANDERSON Busty Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson first shocked the world when she tied the knot with bad boy rocker Tommy Lee - on a beach in Mexico. The blonde star wore a tiny white bikini as she exchanged vows with the Motley Crue drummer after knowing him for just five days in February 1995 After returning to L.A., they had wedding rings tattooed on their fingers. Pamela's says "Tommy's" and Tommy's says "Pamela's". They got re-married for fun in silver space suits with friends there "just because".. But their blissful union was short lived as on Tuesday November 19, 1996, Pamela filed for divorce from husband Tommy Lee. The couple reunited a short time later without the divorce being finalized and had two children Brandon and Dylan. But they split again in 1998 when Tommy was charged with spousal abuse. He was arrested February 24 1998 after Pamela called 911 to report a domestic dispute. Police arrived to find the former Baywatch star had suffered minor injuries, including a broken fingernail and redness on her lower back. Pam claimed that Tommy kicked her in the back and butt while she was holding then seven-week-old Dylan Jagger. Lee was charged with spousal abuse, child abuse, and unlawful possession of a firearm, but in exchange for pleading no-contest, all but the spousal abuse charge was dropped. By copping a plea, the 35-year-old musician automatically violated the terms of his probation on another case. Tommy entered a no-contest plea in January to a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an assault on paparazzo Henry Trappler outside L.A.'s Viper Room in September 1996. A judge sentenced the Mstley CrYe drummer to six months in jail and three years' probation for battery and a handcuffed Tommy was removed from the court immediately after sentencing to begin serving his sentence in county jail. The couple stayed in touch because of the kids Dylan but Pam once again filed for divorce. Citing irreconcilable differences, she asked for legal custody of their children, Brandon, twenty months, and Dylan, seven weeks and also for her maiden name, Pamela Denise Anderson, to be restored. The petition- her second filing in their almost three- year marriage- did not cite the incident that led to her husband's arrest two days ago. The couple reconciled yet again in 1999 after the divorce was finalized but it wasn't long before Pam was dating Swedish male model Marcus Schenkenberg. But her fling with the hunk Schenkenberg did not last too long and she was soon seen on the arm of country rocker Kid Rock in 2001. The couple were soon engaged after Kid Rock proposed to her in the Nevada desert in April 2002 but never tied the knot and finally broke up in the summer of 2003. The couple stayed closed by they shocked the world in the summer of 2006 when they tied the knot on a yacht in the South of France. Hardly anyone knew that the couple were back together let alone planning a wedding. But just three months later in November 2006, Pam filed for divorce from Kid Rock The former Baywatch babe has ditched her rocker boyfriend citing irreconcilable differences. It came just weeks after Pam announced she had suffered a miscarriage. The star was filming Blonde and Blonder with Denise Richards in Vancouver, British Colombia, when she suffered bleeding in the early stages of her pregnancy. The couple had several weddings across America - but first married on a yacht in St Tropez in July, although they had another ceremony in the US on August 3 to make their marriage legal. According to the petition Pam filed in a Los Angeles Court on November 27, Anderson had a pre-nuptial agreement with Rock. She has asked courts to revert her name back to Anderson and not to grant Rock spousal support. The couple tied the knot on a yacht in St. Tropez in front of friends like Canadian producer David Furnish, the partner of Sir Elton John. They later made it official by getting married in the U.S in Rock's hometown Detroit and California. Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, was first engaged to Anderson in April 2002 but the couple split a few months later. Rock, 35, proposed again in July and the couple planned a quick wedding. Anderson, who is represented by celebrity hotshot lawyer Neal Hersh, suffers from Hepatitis C. CARMEN ELECTRA Sexy beach babe Carmen Electra also has two failed marriages under her belt. The first time she tied the knot - at the height of her Baywatch fame - the union only just made it past a week It was almost a nine-day wonder for the actress and the outrageous basketball player Dennis Rodman. Electra's Las Vegas wedding in 1998 to Rodman ended in tears when the groom filed for annulment days after they became man and wife. Then 37, he claimed that he was of unsound mind at the time he made his vows. Rodman briefly reconciled with his 26-year-old wife, however, but they parted ways six months later. Their relationship got ugly, after the couple filed for divorce. Electra and Rodman were arrested and taken to Miami Dade County Jail after a vicious fight in a hotel. The Baywatch beauty was later pictured at the police station with a swollen lip. Speaking about the couple police spokesman Al Boza said after the November 1999 incident: "They have very minor facial scratching. They are charged with battery and domestic violence."' Electra claimed she was deeply affected by the end of her first marriage, saying in 2004: "I didn't go any dates for a year. I'd made up my mind that I'd finish up alone or a lesbian." The actress is now in the process of ending her two-year marriage with second husband rocker Dave Navarro. Carmen and heavy metal rocker Navarro exchanged vows in a ceremony on November 22 2003 that was filmed for their reality TV show. But Scary Movie star Carmen Electra sent men's tempertatures around the world soaring again when she announced earlier this year that she was single again. The news came just a couple of months after guitarist Navarro reportedly told a U.S magazine the marriage was in trouble due to their hectic work schedules. A statement issued by Electra's rep said the couple was "separating amicably". Electra, 34, and Navarro married on Nov. 22, 2003. The wedding was shown a year later on the MTV reality show 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave. At the event at L.A.'s St. Regis Hotel, 200 guests - including Hugh Hefner and Sharon Osbourne - were escorted into a Garden of Eden-like setting, complete with projected water walls, flowered metal vines and a white python. Gazing at her husband to be, Electra joked during her vows, "I thought I would never marry a guy who looks in the mirror more than I do." Things began to deteriorate as they were forced to spend time apart due to work commitments. One of the last times the coupe was seen together was when Navarro, 39, who has played for Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, turned out to support Electra at the New York City premiere of Scary Movie 4 on April 10. At the time Electra denied there were problems, declaring: "We're fine! I'm not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we're the perfect couple, but we're pretty damn good." If there were trouble, she added, "I wouldn't have my ring on. I would not walk around and pretend." The couple claim they have remained friends - and have not yet been seen with any new partners. DAVID HASSELHOFF The Hoff has recently been embroiled in a bizarre and nasty divorce battle with his now ex-wife Pamela. The Hoff has now been granted joint custody of his children with estranged wife Pamela Bach. But the couple have been flinging wild accusations at each other that include drug taking and domestic abuse. She claimed that Hasselhoff was so desperate to protect his bulging bank account he got her to sign a pre-nuptial agreement 30 minutes before their marriage. Pamela Bach, now 42, was in her wedding dress waiting to walk down the aisle when her husband-to-be thrust the piece of paper into her hands. Thinking it was her marriage license, the actress failed to read the small print and added her signature before entering the church and saying 'I do'. These astonishing events were revealed in the latest court hearing for the bitter divorce battle between Hasselhoff and Bach. Hasselhoff, 54, who rose to fame as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in TV series Baywatch, filed for divorce in January this year following a 16-year-marriage. After the actor walked out, his relationship descended into a seething feud, with Bach demanding a restraining order on her estranged husband. While 42-year-old actress claimed Hasselhoff once broke her nose, he stated the only man who ever did that was her plastic surgeon. The couple then fought over custody of their two daughters - 16-year-old Taylor-Ann and 13-year-old Hayley - until a court granted them joint custody of the girls. New court papers showed that Bach was disputing the validity of their pre-nuptial agreement and reveal the extraordinary events just moments before the wedding. In a written statement, which has raised objections from her ex-husband, the actress claims Hasselhoff first mentioned a pre-nup less than a month before their December 9 wedding date in 1989. "This was the first time Petitioner (Hasselhoff) had ever raised the issue of a prenuptial agreement, and because I had never heard the term 'prenuptial agreement' prior to that time, I had no concept of the legal impact associated with the document," she said. Bach did as her fiance asked and met with a lawyer twice, but claims she was so baffled by the agreement she broke down in tears. "We had to end the first meeting which I had with Petitioner's attorneys because I was crying so severely that I could not continue with the meeting," she explained. It was the lawyer - not Hasselhoff himself - who advised the actress to hire her own legal team, and it was only then that she realized the meetings had been representing Hasselhoff's interests and not her own. Bach did not sign any documents until half an hour before she became Mrs. Hasselhoff. Apparently unknowingly, she put her name on the pre-nup while standing in a room at the back of the church dressed in her wedding gown. But the arguments did not stop there and The Hoff then claimed Bach had a cocaine probloem. Bach said she was "shell-shocked" by his claims she tested positive for cocaine and was intoxicated at her daughter's birthday party. Bach said the 54-year-old ex-Baywatch star was "sick" and was targeting her merely for financial reasons. Speaking at her home in Encino, California, Bach said that lab tests showing she tested positive for cocaine were conducted on her hair extensions - not her own hair. Hasselhoff's astonishing allegations against his wife of 16 years came to light when court documents from their bitter divorce battle were leaked. The court documents showed how Hasselhoff claims Bach was "intoxicated or on drugs" at daughter Taylor Ann's 16th birthday party and would accuse him of having affairs in front of the children. And in a document submitted to LA's Superior Court, a lab report concluded that Bach tested positive for cocaine. But on Bach hit back at his allegations and said the lab test was not reliable. "It was his lab. His counsel picked that lab," she said. "I went there willingly thinking it was ethical and I had no fear. I had zero fear. "They cut my hair with my hair extensions and hair. But more importantly it came back saying positive and I said: 'No way, I know who I am'. "So I went to the reputable Cedars Sinai and I had test after test saying negative, negative, negative." After a bitter public exchange over their divorce, the pair's legal wrangle over access to their children ended when a judge signed ordered joint custody. The former Baywatch star will have his daughters Taylor, 16, and Hayley, 12, one week and his ex-wife will have them the next. In legal documents filed on May 4, a Los Angeles judge spelled out down to the day how the children's time will be split between their warring parents - whose divorce has not yet been made official. Acknowledging the strain between the couple, the judge added: "Neither party shall make derogatory or disparaging remarks about the other to, or in the presence of,, or within the hearing of, any minor child." After the decision, Hasselhoff said in a statement: "My wife and I have been able to reach an agreement that we feel is in the best interest of our children, which affords them the opportunity to spend significant time with each of us." Bach's attorney Gary Mitchell said: "It was in the best interests of the children and that's why they did it -- to put it behind them and move on. Hasselhoff, 53,, filed for divorce from Bach, 42, on January 12, citing irreconcilable differences after 16 years of marriage. Bach filed her own divorce papers a day later, also citing irreconcilable differences. In March, the court issued a temporary restraining order requiring Hasselhoff to stay away from Bach except for "peaceful contacts" involving child visitations. Hasselhoff played lifeguard Mitch Buchannon on "Baywatch" from 1989 to 2000 and starred in the 1980s TV series "Knight Rider." Bach appeared in the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" and in numerous episodes of "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider." |
