Jesse Metcalfe 'splits' with Girls Aloud singer

Desperate Housewives hunk JESSE METCALFE has reportedly split from his pop star lover NADINE COYLE, after being spotted snuggling up with a mystery brunette.

Metcalfe, who has just finished a month stint in rehab for "alcohol issues", was photographed holding hands and cuddling a young woman at popular Los Angeles cafe Toast.

LA-based Metcalfe and Northern Irish Girls Aloud singer Coyle have been conducting a long-distance relationship since meeting in Australia in February 2006.

The couple last spent time together on a romantic holiday to Hawaii in early March, where the pair posed for photographs and discussed their relationship with British magazine OK!, but then two weeks later, Metcalfe stunned Coyle when he checked into rehab.

British newspapers today have published photos of Metcalfe and his mystery companion, while Coyle films a cameo in the St Trinian's movie in
England.

Coyle, 21, says, "It's over between Jesse and me. I'm not the kind of girl to put up with nonsense like that. I'll meet the right person when the time is right. I'm disappointed, but
what can I do. There's no point in hanging on when it's gets to this stage."
