Julia Roberts laughed through love scenes

JULIA ROBERTS got into trouble when filming love scenes with DUPLICITY co-star CLIVE OWEN - because the actress couldn't stop laughing.
 
The pair share a partial nude bedroom scene - and Roberts admits she and good friend Owen struggled to stay serious during filming, much to the annoyance of the director.
 
She says, "It was awful and awkward, we were just laughing. The director, Tony Gilroy, would yell at us then we would try to kiss without laughing and we'd fail and Tony would yell at us again. So eventually, we would get in so much trouble that we just got through it.
 
"But that's what makes it fun, to be with your pal, because you can turn that awkwardness into silliness."
