The Pussycat Dolls' stage fears
10 March 2009
THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS are working doubly hard opening BRITNEY SPEARS' current tour - because her high-tech round stage means they must move at all times to keep fans from staring at their backsides.
The girl group is the support act on the Toxic singer's 42-date Circus trek, which features a massive circular platform in the centre of the venue.
And the fivepiece has quickly learned the curved stage means they must dance throughout the entire show - so revellers can focus on something other than their bottoms.
Frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger says, "It's hard because your butt cheeks are always facing part of the crowd.
"So you constantly wanna keep it moving and be able to spread the love everywhere - even though your backside is to some of the people."
