Presley, 40, celebrated the birth of her first children with husband Michael Lockwood on October 7, in a statement released by her spokeswoman Cindy Guagenti today.

The couple's first children together were born via C-section and weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and 5 pounds 2 ounces, the press release said.

"The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home," the statement added.

Presley revealed her pregnancy in March after she was pictured with an expanding waistline - sparking rumours that she was pregnant.

Presley married her fourth husband musician/producer Michael Lockwood in January 2006 in Japan.

The daughter of the 'King of Rock 'n' Roll' Elvis Presley already has two children, daughter Riley, 19, and Benjamin, 15 with ex-husband Danny Keough.

Presley was previously briefly married to Michael Jackson in 1994, and actor Nicholas Cage in 2002. 
Presley has enjoyed pop success like her famous father, releasing two albums since 2003 both selling more than a million copies each.
